Established in 2016 Sullivan’s Auctions is a family-run business in the heart of the South Wales valleys, with over 40 years of experience in commercial sales. We provide a range of auction services, taking great pride in all we do, from valuations to sensitive house clearances we offer a comprehensive valuation and auction service to clients across the Valleys regions, south Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and beyond. We handle the sale of antiques, mid-century and modern furnishings artworks, jewellery, silverware and ceramics.

We run sales on the second Monday and Tuesday of each month, starting at 5.30 pm with viewing from 10 am on both days. The collection of lots is on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am until 5 pm.

Shaun is the front face of Sullivans Auctions. As the lead auctioneer, valuer and business owner he is responsible for the day-to-day running of the auction. A former military man and proud veteran, Shaun understands the importance of strong leadership and building a solid team. Approachable, personable yet professional with a keen eye for quality. Outside of the auction, he can be found walking and target shooting.

Connor is an enthusiastic team member with a keen eye for detail. Responsible for the photographing and description writing of the sale items, well on his way to earning his auctioneering credentials. Conner overlooks and supervises the packing and postage and can be found on the rostrum during sale days, responsible for the running of the sale days and inputting all the required information into the online saleroom platforms. He is well-organised, flexible, and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. When not working he can be found writing music and performing acoustic guitar sets, as well as keeping fit at the Gym.

Lee has recently moved into the auction world from previous roles in retail, responsible for maintaining our computerised administration, auction stock inventory, building teams, training, monitoring our performance, and communicating and interacting with vendors and buyers. Lee has the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, Lee is calm and approachable, especially in sensitive situations. Outside of works his hobbies include managing and coaching a local youth football team and being a keen mountain bike rider who enjoys the great outdoors.

As an experienced mechanical engineer, Jason is more than used to the hustle and bustle of a busy auction house, dynamic and trustworthy he can always be relied upon to get any job done safely and without fuss. A firm favourite with customers, quietly spoken in an empathetic manner if you come and collect from the auction Jason will be the man who will be on hand to give advice. Outside of the auction, Jason can be found renovating his property and restoring vehicles of all shapes and types.

Charles is a retired emergency medical technician paramedic who has worked at Sullivans Auctions since it was opened in 2016. A loyal and experienced member of the team, Charles is a firm favourite with customers, with a bright outlook, and enthusiastic approach, he can be relied upon to get the job done. During the auction, he can be found providing refreshments and advice to first-time buyers and old customers. Working part-time has allowed Charles to continue his personal development and improve his IT skills, while also travelling the world exploring new destinations.

Tommy is a retired company director of a soft drinks company that faithfully served local businesses across the Cynon Valley and further for over 30 years. As the senior member of the team and Shaun's father, Thomas is always on hand to provide advice and support to the management and to the team members.
